In the department of Open Innovation, dedicated to detecting, analyzing, and selecting on the ground new external technologies with regards to R&I strategic priorities, we are looking for a Global Head of Technology Partnering (M/W). 
 

As the Global Head of Technology Partnering, you’re responsible for supervising the TP activity ww, ensuring all the opportunities are aligned with the OI strategy and selected based on strong rational and defining the detection levers to activate depending on the geographical ecosystem.

As part of this role, your main responsibilities are: 

• Activity Management 
  • Connect with ww OI colleagues to share vision and frame of the TP activity: objectives, priorities, key insights from internal stakeholders, ways of wording and process
  • Ensure a consolidated and global view of the OI opportunities brought by TP and streamline new opportunities
  • Share priorities and updates on the key challenges to the TP community
  • Connect to the rest of OI functions to allow a seamless and robust process from Detection (with Watch) to Transformation (with BD)
  • Represent OA in external ecosystems and events, with startups
  • Support and advise the team in their operational challenges; monitor workloads and working conditions
  • Ensure a good flow of information
  • Arbitrate decisions if necessary
  • Ensure interfaces within the team and with our key internal partners
  • Consolidate and manage the overall budget

• Support team members in their professional development by identifying and discussing new initiatives/projects/training/career opportunities, etc.
• Animate the team through cross-functional projects allowing team members to benefit from the expertise and skills of their colleagues
• Contribute to the upskilling of the team via collective training sessions, for example
• Develop positions and responsibilities according to the abilities and ambitions of each member of the team

To succeed in this position, you have: 

• Advanced scientific background (MSc/PhD in chemical, computational, physical, or life sciences.), tech savvy and familiar with startups environment
• At least 10 years of professional experience
• Business models notions
• People management skills
• External presentation skills
