Who am I?
As Business Planner you are a central part of the commercial team. Your key responsibilities within the planning cycles are:
Support Strategic Lead
- To support Sr. Business Planner in defining the strategic direction of the commercial sell in / sell out planning
- To support Sr. Business Planner in the commercial planning process with respecting RACI’s and deadlines on the following granularity level:
- Channel Offline vs Online
- Retailer
- Category
- Brand
- Launches / Sets / Baseline
Alignment & Collaboration
- To pre-align with business development on the market sell out expectations
- To pre-align with supply on the assumptions for next planning cycle
- To pre-align with the brands on the sell out expectations
- To be the go-to person for Supply Chain and Brands for strategic planning topics
- To prepare the commercial view for any alignment or validation meeting
Challenging & Risk Management
- To challenge and support the KAMs on their forecasting construction
- To identify risks or opportunities within the commercial forecast
- To analyze forecasting gaps with supply and brands
- To lead periodical landings (Month, Quarter, FY)
- To analyze forecasting gaps vs Trend / Hebdo
- To steer returns & consolidation
Meeting Lead
- To lead and prepare the weekly commercial meeting in support of Sr. Business Planner
Systems, Data, Tools, Processes
- To safeguard data quality used for the planning process (stock in trade, actuals etc)
- To verify and improve the planning tools used by the commercial team
- To constantly improve the processes of the commercial planning
- To be the international go-to person for international planning projects
In order to do so you foster a multi-functional collaboration, both with the commercial teams, as well as with supply chain, sales controlling and marketing.
Your profile
You are analytical strong but pragmatic when the situation requires. As a person you are determined to make a great impact by taking initiatives and sharing your ideas. It is important to feel comfortable to collaborate with different stakeholders and that you know how to convince them if necessary. Furthermore you are open minded and supportive towards new initiatives.
Our ideal candidate has:
- At least a first experience in business planning
- Strong Analytical, Communication and Influencing Skills
- Strong Excel, Power BI and/or reporting skills
- Able to communicate profoundly in both Dutch and English
- A background in Commercial, Supply Chain or Finance
