L'Oréal, specifically our Professional Product Division, is looking for a Brand Business Leader. As a Brand Business Leader, you will be responsible for the brand strategy of our American haircare brand, Matrix. This role involves leading the brand to achieve outstanding business performance in the professional beauty market by continuously building and strengthening the brand equity through best-in-class customer and consumer experiences across all business channels.


You will be responsible for:

In direct

  • Lead the brand in 3 markets (Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) delivering the brand KPIs (net sales & sell out growth and market share, consumer and client distribution etc) .
  • Co-develop and execute brand strategy, O+O trade activation and communication plans to effectively strengthen brand position in the market.
  • In collaboration with the commercial teams ensure successful launch executions and key categories growth in each business channel.
  • Continuously build and protect brand equity and ensure its consistency in all B2B and B2C touchpoints alongside setting the frame and clear investment priorities.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to monitor and analyse key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to optimize brand strategy & tactics.
  • Stay up- to-date with industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth & translating it into clear action steps
  • Lead, inspire and motivate brand marketing team (product marketing, O+O activation, media and advocacy) focusing on talent development
  • Foster a collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment across all stakeholders both internally and externally, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment on brand objectives.
  • Report directly to GM of PPD division


In cooperation

  • In cooperation with key stakeholders own the full P&L, making choices and recommendations on innovative, growth-driving, profitable levers to activate in each business channel.
  • Together with GM + BBL Redken co-create smooth cooperation environment withing American brands team, establishing processes and workflows in effective way reflecting market needs and business potential


Your profile

  • Minimum of 6 years of product marketing, B2B education and media / advocacy experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving brand objectives.
  • Obsessed with customer and consumer centricity.
  • Understanding of P&L drivers and how to drive action plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity in developing new ideas and strategies to drive brand growth.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on setting and achieving measurable goals.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Czech, Slovak or Hungarian.
