The Operations Excellence Analyst works closely with internal groups, such as Process Improvement, Operations Management, Inventory Control and Transportation. This role will support distribution center projects in order to provide employee support and efficient fulfillment of customer orders per organizational policies and procedures.


  • Supports management team, providing recommendations and feedback on change initiatives, both operational and employee facing
  • Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure operational excellence program success
  • Establishes and maintains process excellence program governance, project reviews, communications and training
  • Participates in the development and implementation of new programs and may communicate and/or introduce newly improved processes and sequences within the operation
  • Verifies records for accuracy, tracks data and ensures databases are updated
  • Completes error research and supports communication to appropriate stakeholder to aid in achievement of service and cost objectives
  • Documents departmental procedures and make suggestions for improvements
    • Contributes to and builds partnerships with employees, external vendors, providers and consultants
    • Perform audits on processes/practices and follow up with supervisor for appropriate employee performance management and engagement opportunities
    • Recommends, advocates and/or communicates other resources for employee improvement/support as necessary
  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed upon request, such as, but not limited to:  Report generation, information flow to other departments/stakeholders and coordination of special projects


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 1-2 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering or similar field 
  • Ability to act independently without direct supervision and support a team to accomplish timely objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • SAP & LMS knowledge strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead group instruction and training activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills     
  • Has a basic understanding of OSHA and safety regulations
  • Six Sigma certification preferred 
  • Must be able to wear protective eyewear, footwear, hand protection (gloves) and safety vests
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations preferred
