A Day in the Life

This 1-year industrial placement commences on 28th June 2027 (applications close on Friday 6th November). Based at One Central Plaza in Dublin, you will support commercial account leads across major Irish retail partners to grow brand presence and execute sales strategies.

• Support account managers in tracking and analysing weekly sales figures, promotions, and new product launches across national accounts.

• Assist with inventory forecasting by reviewing promotional demand and product launch volumes.

• Conduct regular in-store retail visits across Dublin to monitor brand execution, merchandising standards, and competitor activity.

• Participate in joint business planning by preparing presentation decks and retail insight summaries for external account meetings.

• Help coordinate promotional activations across cross-functional partners in marketing, supply chain, and finance.

We Are Looking For

You bring curiosity, an analytical mindset, and an interest in how consumer products succeed on the Irish retail market. You bring:

• Analytical Rigour: Comfort evaluating numerical sales data, interpreting trends, and working with Excel to extract actionable insights.

• Commercial Acumen: Understanding of retail operations, client relationships, and consumer purchasing habits.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Clear communication skills to align with commercial partners, marketing teams, and external retailers.

• Planning & Organisation: Ability to structure daily tasks, manage multiple project timelines, and deliver work systematically.

• Problem Solving: Readiness to identify on-shelf opportunities and propose practical retail solutions.

• Degree Placement Eligibility: Current enrolment in an undergraduate university programme that includes an accredited one-year industrial placement.
