Over Coffee at L'Oréal – Working in Operational Marketing at L’Oréal
In this compelling excerpt from "Over Coffee at L'Oréal", guest Marin sits down with SeedZ Management Trainees Maryna and Tidiane to share his personal career pivot. From behind a retro microphone in an open, contemporary lounge setting, Marin explains how L'Oréal recognized his scientific pharmacy degree and supported him through diverse initial roles to help him build the strategic business acumen needed to become a well-rounded marketer.
[Soft, rhythmic background music plays throughout]

Marin (Guest): "I want to see what marketing looks like" at the very beginning, five years ago. So it's a path for me. I applied to the Groupe, and the Groupe told me—and it's perfectly okay and perfectly understandable, okay: "Marin, you cannot start with a marketing job. You're a pharmacist."
[Visual: Plan shot of Tidiane listening attentively with glasses and a focused expression]

Marin (Guest): So it's not possible, you have to develop yourself. You have to develop yourself through different jobs to be able then to become a good marketer with good insights for the marketing team, etc.

Marin (Guest): ...to become a good marketer with good insights for the marketing team, etc.
