As the Brand Communication Manager for our luxury beauty brands, you will take full ownership of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for Lancôme & Helena Rubinstein across both brands (transverse approach) to drive business growth and consumer engagement in Japan.
In this role, you will act as a business driver who translates consumer insights and trends into actionable strategies, leading internal cross-functional teams (both local and global) as well as external agencies to deliver impactful 360-degree communications.
You will lead a communication team and effectively engage cross-functional partners across Brand, PR, E-commerce, and Sales, as well as external partners, to ensure consistent and locally relevant execution.
<Responsibilities>
Campaign Management
• Own the end-to-end IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) strategy and execution—from consumer insights to media/influencer activation and post-campaign analysis.
• Drive campaign performance with a strong focus on agility, ROI, and business impact (sell-out and market share).
• Utilize data-driven insights (MMM, social analytics) to optimize creative and media effectiveness.
• Demonstrate leadership in local ambassador/influencer selection and asset development, including photo shoots and negotiations with KOL agencies.
• Manage budget allocation and scheduling efficiently for multiple, simultaneously ongoing campaigns with a focus on safety and maximum ROI.
External Partner Management
• Manage external partners (media, influencer, casting, and production agencies) to ensure excellence in output and efficient budget utilization.
• Build strong, transparent relationships with key agencies and platforms through regular reviews, QBRs, collaborative planning, and daily communication.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Team Leadership
• Partner closely with Brand, PR, E-commerce, Sales, and Global Marketing to deliver integrated go-to-market plans.
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams to ensure fast decision-making and smooth execution.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the IMC team, setting clear goals and providing continuous feedback.
• Foster a culture of agility, accountability, entrepreneurship, and collaboration within the team.


Must Have Aspects 必須項目

. 5 + years of experience in Integrated Marketing Communications, Media Planning, in CPG company or related company such as Ad agency.

. Excellent interpersonal skill, editorial communication skill, presentation skill both in Japanese and business conversational level of English

・Hands-on experience driving IMC campaign execution across multiple channels (influencer, digital media).

. Strong agency management skills and project leadership capability.

. Data-driven mindset with ability to translate analytics into strategic actions.

. Basic and useful knowledge of the Social media, up-to-date local and global media trend / Consumer trend

. Fluent in Japanese and business level English (verbal and written).


Preferred Qualification 希望項目

. Ideally cosmetics background

. Global company experience, with excellent communication ability in both Japanese and English

. Excellence in presentation skills (in Japanese and English, creation of slides and presentation ability)

. Proven people management experience.
