A Day in the Life

Reporting directly to the SAPMENA Zone Fulfillment Network Director, you plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the regional fulfillment strategy, network optimization and performance animation. This position bridges high-level strategic planning with hands-on operational execution, driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and optimization across all fulfillment and distribution centers in the SAPMENA zone (Inhouse and 3PL). The ideal candidate combines deep physical distribution know-how with entrepreneurial leadership to elevate network performance, optimize costs, and foster local ecosystem partnerships.

Strategic Network Optimization: 

  • Co-lead the definition of new strategies regarding Fulfillment Center activities in alignment with Group Operations guidelines, working closely with Zone network Fulfilment director and Physical director at the country level. 
  • Participate in defining and executing new strategies for the distribution and optimization of Physical Distribution across the SAPMENA region. 

Budgeting & Resource Planning: 

  • Help countries to create and manage their budgets (CAPEX and operating costs) and accurately size required resources to achieve short- and medium-term objectives (targets, annual budget, and 3-year plans). 

Performance Animation & Operational Excellence: 

  • Drive and animate performance indicators and dialogues acrossf Fulfillment Delivery Centers in the region to track KPIs, identify gaps, and share best practices. 
  • Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across warehouse and distribution processes. 

Information system & External Ecosystem: 

  • Support the countries on the information system transformation.
  • Build connections with the external ecosystem (3PL, copackers etc…).

Change Management & Team Empowerment: 

  • Develop internal expertise and know-how and successfully implement organizational changes. 
  • Inspire, mentor, and empower the Physical Distribution team to foster a culture of high performance and ownership. 


We Are Looking For

You are an agile, strategic leader who thrives in complex, multi-market environments, combining operational rigour with an entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo.

  • At least 10 years of experience in physical distribution and logistics, with a deep, hands-on know-how of execution processes. 
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, operational excellence methodologies, and warehouse systems.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, analytical thinking, and performance dashboards.
  • Proven project and change management experience. 
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to inspire cross-cultural and multi-market teams across SAPMENA.
