What will you do?

As a Senior Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, claim substantiation, securing market access, and protecting our license to operate.

In this role, you will act as a key business partner, ensuring full compliance for cosmetics and adjacent categories (e.g., health supplements, medical devices, beauty devices) while enabling business growth and market access.You are expected to manage the following

  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide expert analysis of cosmetic and related regulations, ensuring full compliance across all product categories.
  • Efficacy & Claims Substantiation: Assess and ensure that product efficacy claims are scientifically credible and compliant with local regulations. Prepare robust substantiation support and defense letters when the need arises; to protect brand integrity.
  • Internal & External Relations: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with regulatory authorities and key internal stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Guidance: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to balance business goals with stringent regulatory requirements.
  • Expanded Portfolio Oversight: Oversee product registrations and compliance for adjacent categories, including health supplements, medical devices, and beauty devices.
  • Health Related Complaint Management: Assist in health-related complaints and ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events in accordance with local standards and internal guidelines.


Who are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a relevant scientific discipline is required.

  • Deep Regulatory Expertise: Minimum 7-10 years of core regulatory experience, ideally within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors; in scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, product development, or related fields. Experience or knowledge in health supplements and medical device registration is an added advantage.
  • Influential Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Capacity to bridge the gap between regulatory compliance and commercial objectives, identifying risks and unlocking opportunities for market access.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills to navigate crises, resolve complex regulatory challenges, and prioritize actions efficiently.
  • Strong Team Player: Highly collaborative nature with a proven ability to work seamlessly across diverse teams, foster positive working relationships, and share expertise to support collective goals.
