Who We Are: For more than a century, L’Oréal has devoted its energy, innovation and scientific excellence to one business: beauty. Our goal is to offer everyone the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity and responsibility—meeting the diverse needs and desires of people around the world.

At L’Oréal Professional Products, we support hairdressers, help develop the hair industry sustainably and lead its digital transformation with a customer-centric approach. Our portfolio includes L’Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken, Matrix and Pureology.

The Role: As Manager, Advocacy & Influence for Redken, you will develop and lead the brand’s professional advocacy and influencer strategy in partnership with the Brand & Consumer Engagement Lead and Head of Marketing. You will build an integrated approach aligned with L’Oréal USA and global frameworks to grow awareness, engagement, brand conversation, traffic and conversion—with a primary focus on recruiting and retaining professional influencers and advocates.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement social and influencer strategies aligned with Redken’s brand positioning, marketing objectives and global vision.
  • Identify, recruit, vet and engage professional partners across micro-influencer, social and ambassador communities; build strong relationships with existing and emerging partners.
  • Evaluate professional partner performance across social channels. Use social listening and performance tools, including Traackr/TARS, to deliver monthly reports with actionable insights and identify opportunities—particularly to accelerate YouTube performance.
  • Develop, execute and measure mailer activations with agency partners and marketing teams.
  • Ideate, coordinate and execute events, including managing professional guest lists, aligning priority talent lists with the Education team, preparing run of show documents and communicating with professional talent.
  • Lead agency partnerships to advance professional activations and ensure campaigns are appropriately tracked in Traackr/TARS.
  • Partner with Marketing, PR, Legal and Corporate Communications to support consistent brand messaging and coordinated communication.
  • Create monthly briefs for professional creators to encourage mentions, views and engagement, and support growth in share of influence (SOI).
  • Maintain documentation on activations, spending and impact, including expenses, contracted deliverables and product seeding.
  • Collaborate with the Pro Activation Team (DDX & Media), Education, SalonCentric, the Pro Pillar and the Divisional Brand & Consumer Engagement Team to grow professional SOI and share of market (SOM), and coordinate partnership outreach.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4–6 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand management or product management.
  • Understanding of and interest in the professional beauty and hair industry is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term brand engagement strategies that support business objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with creators, media, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends, earned media opportunities and potential partnerships, and take initiative to pursue them.
  • Strong analytical skills, including defining KPIs, tracking performance, interpreting results and using insights to improve impact and ROI.
  • Ability to travel domestically periodically, up to 25%.

What’s In It For You:

  • Competitive Compensation: $98,400 - $140,200 base salary (actual compensation depends on experience, skill level, and geographic location).
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Gold-standard Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, a robust 401K matching program, and a corporate Pension Plan.
  • Flexible Hybrid Work Policy: 3 days in office (10 Hudson Yards, NYC) and 2 days work from home.
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Competitive vacation allowances, paid holidays, Volunteer Time Off, a Vacation Buy Program, and Summer Fridays.
