About L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty

L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty brings together brands dedicated to skin health and care. Through CeraVe, La Roche-Posay and Vichy, we help customers find products and routines suited to their skincare needs.

Your Mission

As a City Consultant, you’ll grow CeraVe, La Roche-Posay and Vichy across your assigned Boots stores. You’ll create engaging customer experiences, recommend tailored skincare routines and deliver events and active selling. You’ll also train and coach Boots colleagues so they can confidently advise customers and drive sales every day—even when you’re not in store.

What you’ll do

Engage customers and drive sales

  • Proactively approach customers to understand their skincare needs, preferences and current routines.
  • Recommend tailored routines across CeraVe, La Roche-Posay and Vichy, explaining how to use products and how they can work together.
  • Create customer interest through product demonstrations, events and other in-store activities.
  • Deliver relevant, needs-led recommendations that support customer confidence, loyalty and appropriate basket growth.
  • Work towards agreed sales objectives while keeping customer needs at the centre of your recommendations.

Train and coach Boots colleagues

  • Plan and deliver engaging product training and coaching across your store portfolio, adapting your approach to each team.
  • Help colleagues build product knowledge and confidence in understanding customer needs and recommending suitable routines.
  • Demonstrate effective customer conversations, routine recommendations and complementary product suggestions, then give colleagues opportunities to practise.
  • Follow up on training to reinforce learning and help colleagues apply it independently.
  • Lead by example in customer service and active selling.

Build strong store partnerships

  • Develop positive working relationships with Boots colleagues and understand the needs of each store.
  • Agree practical actions with store teams to support customer engagement, brand visibility and sales.
  • Share customer feedback, training needs and effective practices across your store portfolio.
  • Plan and prioritise visits across 5–10 stores, adapting to changing store needs.

Maintain excellent standards

  • Represent the brands professionally in every store.
  • Help keep product displays and work areas clean, organised and welcoming.
  • Complete required administrative tasks, reporting and training using the relevant systems.

About you

  • You’re confident approaching customers and starting helpful, engaging conversations.
  • You’re interested in skincare and beauty, and keen to keep your product knowledge up to date.
  • You have strong training and presentation skills and can make product information clear and practical.
  • You enjoy coaching others and helping them build confidence through demonstration and practice.
  • You’re organised, self-directed and comfortable planning your work across different locations.
  • You build positive relationships, influence through credibility and follow through on agreed actions.
  • You’re motivated to achieve sales objectives while keeping recommendations relevant to customer needs.
  • Previous beauty, skincare or retail experience is welcome, but a willingness to learn is essential.

Learning and development

You’ll receive role-related training and ongoing learning to develop your product knowledge, customer consultation, coaching and presentation skills.

Benefits

What’s different
about working at L'Oréal?

People often expect a global company of our size to run on rigid rules and strict playbooks. We don’t. What makes L’Oréal different is our entrepreneurial mindset. Whether you work in tech, finance, supply chain, or marketing, you aren’t here just to follow instructions. You are here to take ownership and shape your own projects from day one.

The pace is fast, and the learning curve is steep. But in return, you get the trust to try new things and the support to make a real impact. If you want a role where your voice actually shapes the work and the chance to work in over 40 worldwide brands, this is where you do it.

You’d be a great fit. We’d love to see you apply.

You can apply to a maximum of three jobs within a rolling 30-day window. Please choose carefully.
