A Day in the Life
Based at our Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen and reporting directly to the Head of Consumer & Market Insights (CMI), you will steer category performance and market sizing across all four divisions. This role drives macro business intelligence, where high-stakes commercial decisions meet deep market understanding.
As the Nordic Market Insight and Category Lead, you are equipped and empowered to turn complex data into actionable business development strategies. Operating within an agile, high-trust team, you will identify category growth opportunities, size future market spaces, and lead our integration of AI-powered analytics to guide commercial investment across the Nordics.
Your main responsibilities will be gathered into these key areas:
• Category Sizing & Market Trends: Analyze market, retail and consumer data across categories to uncover macro market dynamics and pinpoint untapped commercial growth spaces.
• Divisional Business Steering: Partner with Divisional General Managers and Business Development teams to translate category intelligence into concrete business development and portfolio priorities.
• Advanced Analytics & Governance: Deliver structured, high-impact market forecasts and performance presentations to senior leadership, leveraging advanced Excel skills and Power BI fluency.
• AI & Predictive Analytics: Onboard and champion predictive market analytics and next-generation AI tools to modernize our category forecasting and competitive intelligence.
We Are Looking For
You bring deep analytical rigor, strategic business acumen, and a collaborative leadership mindset. You bring:
• Commercial & Category Acumen: Solid background in market intelligence, category management, or commercial strategy within FMCG or beauty, with a proven track record steering business decisions through data.
• Advanced Data Modeling: Strong operational mastery of Excel; solid hands-on experience with Power BI and syndicated panels, market or consumer data
• Strategic Synthesis: Proven ability to connect disparate data points into cohesive, forward-looking commercial narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Curiosity & Tech Agility: A proactive mindset keen to integrate AI and automated data solutions into market forecasting.
• Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
