A Day in the Life
Based at our Cairo Plant, you steer packaging sourcing operations to supply high-performing, sustainable components across the MENA region, reporting to the Sourcing Manager.
• Lead regional packaging procurement portfolios, partnering with strategic suppliers to secure production lines and optimise total cost.
• Drive 'L'Oréal for the Future' sustainable packaging targets, ensuring materials meet our traceability and biobased standards across regional launches.
• Manage end-to-end supplier performance, running regular business reviews to resolve supply bottlenecks and mitigate risks under tight manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborate closely with Plant Manufacturing, Packaging Development, and Quality across our Operations ecosystem to land new launches smoothly.
We Are Looking For
You bring a clear analytical mindset, commercially astute negotiation abilities, and the initiative to navigate complex supply networks. You bring:
• Sourcing Strategy & Principles: Deep functional knowledge of direct procurement methods, cost modelling, and contract management.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Proven ability to steer supplier performance, conduct audits, and build joint development roadmaps.
• Negotiation: High operational capability in commercial negotiations, securing competitive terms while protecting quality and service continuity.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong cross-functional alignment skills, connecting plant operations, brand development, and regional leadership.
• Complex Problem Solving: Track record of resolving operational bottlenecks, applying structured problem-solving in high-tempo industrial settings.
