Rainer (L'Oréal Recruiter): Got an interview coming up? Well, my name is Rainer, and I've been a recruiter at L'Oréal for five years. Today I've been challenged on giving you some interview tips. So let's go.

Rainer: First question: What is your favorite interview question?
I would say: "When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone?"
But if you want to go a bit deeper into like judgment: "How about, tell me about a time when your decision-making was strongly influenced by reflections on sustainability actions."

Rainer: Next question: What is a dealbreaker in an interview?
I'll tell you what is not a dealbreaker: you can talk about your career progression, you can ask about work-life balance. Dealbreakers for me would be when you talk about a competitor's product thinking it's L'Oréal Groupe, and of course any ethical breach whatsoever. Ethical breaches—door is closed.
