Alban (Global Programs Manager): In the morning, I was doing a presentation with my team. The afternoon, I was sick.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): At that time, I was working for L'Oréal Paris. I was 35 years old, in excellent shape. I was working out. I had never experienced any health issues before.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): The breaking point... the cancer is here. I was operated twice, I've had chemotherapy. It was hard, but finally quite brief, as my return was 9 months later.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): Physically, it's exhausting. Exhausting. On the moral front, it's challenging as well.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): But I've had the chance of being well supported on a personal level, which has been a great help and gave me strength.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): My partner has played a big role in my healing, and my surroundings in general.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): You have to hang in there. Because there is life after a cancer diagnosis, at work, and in life in general.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): When this happened to me, I was accompanied by the occupational physician. When I returned to work, I was very well accompanied. I was also supported by a social worker.

Alban (Global Programs Manager): Cancer brings a moment of personal reflection, of evaluation. I refocused on what I fundamentally wanted, and I rebalanced myself. This is what it brought me.
