🚀 The Role Overview
As the National Medical Visit Manager, you will be the architect of our medical recommendation engine. This is a newly created strategic role where you will lead the nationwide medical field force to drive brand prescriptions, build institutional partnerships, and define the future of our "Go-to-Market" medical models. You will balance scientific credibility with high-impact commercial leadership.
✨ Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Medical Leadership
- Develop and implement the national strategic medical visit plan to maximize medical recommendations and prescriptions across all LDB brands.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop robust business plans to support program success and market entry.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and market shifts to pivot strategies proactively.
2. Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Full accountability for the total medical sales performance nationwide.
- Manage and optimize budgets, including promotional tools, giveaways, and sampling strategies in collaboration with Marketing and Medical Relations.
- Ensure all medical visit tools are validated and aligned with both brand identity and medical ethics.
3. Network & Field Management
- Define the optimal field structure (networks and sectors) to ensure maximum efficiency and coverage of Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
- Conduct regular field visits to coach medical representatives on detailing techniques, product knowledge, and compliance.
- Recruit, lead, and upskill a high-performing team of Medical Representatives nationwide.
4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain "gold-standard" relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Dermatologists, and HCPs.
- Navigate complex hospital tender processes and institutional partnerships.
- Act as a key facilitator between internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement).
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in commercial leadership within a medical or pharmaceutical environment. Experience in Dermatology or Skincare is a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to utilize data-driven insights to influence decisions and present complex information in simple, persuasive formats.
- Leadership: Exceptional social and communication skills; a natural ability to lead, persuade, and "delight" clients at all levels.
- Mindset: Highly collaborative, agile, and comfortable building a new role from the ground up.
- Compliance: Unwavering commitment to medical ethical guidelines and L'Oréal's corporate compliance standards.
