What You Will Do:

CPFR Manager will drive Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment with the external customer and their customer team throughout the item life cycle in the total supply chain. This role will influence the customer’s forecast, plan and execute events, and lead the customer supply relationship. Utilizing customer systems and joint business targets, the CPFR will analyze data trends to support the business planning and execution processes through accurate forecasting. Should have a complete understanding of all the customer’s extensive systems and data of future/historical replenishment, POS, inventories to best drive best in class forecast accuracy and processes. This role will be also responsible for building relationships with internal contacts including Commercial teams, Demand Planning, Business Planning, Finance and other functions when required.   Customer supply replenishment execution and forecasting intelligence are the main areas of accountability for a specific brand or category set within L’Oreal USA’s Dermatological Beauty Division.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in CPFR or a similar customer-facing supply chain role within the CPG industry, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Walmart.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing complex projects, with a focus on achieving measurable results in fill rate, forecast accuracy, on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery, and inventory optimization.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with major retailers, specifically Walmart, including experience with their systems (Retail Link, GRS, Luminate, NOVA).
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced data analysis functions and automation techniques knowledge a plus. 
    • Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and business intelligence/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Scintilla).
    • Deep understanding of supply chain planning principles and practices, including forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and replenishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract, analyze, and manage data from internal and customer systems (SAP, retailer portals, internal data BIs) to effectively and efficiently support supply chain and commercial initiatives. Develop expertise in customer information databases and best practices, using data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee flow of product from supplier to customers ensuring clear communication for gaps/misses and planning remedy strategies. Support replenishment initiatives, including promotions, new item launches, and seasonal demand fluctuations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain account-specific reporting, identifying opportunities for increased sales by monitoring key customer inventory levels and Point-of-Sale (POS) data for promotional items, new product launches, and core products. Conduct store-level analysis, focusing initiatives on high-volume locations and SKUs.
  • Own stock in trade, on shelf availability and service metrics to provide recommendations regarding business tactics. 
  • Facilitate monthly cross-functional shipment and consumption forecast meetings with commercial and finance, while acting as a liaison with demand & supply planning.
  • Provide timely reporting and analysis of inventory-related activities, including allocations, product runouts/transitions, stop-ship orders, and new product launch orders.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses directly related to supply chain and commercial activities as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between commercial, supply chain, and the retailer. 
  • Develop customized strategies that provide high customer service levels and reduced costs.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Walmart representatives, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for L'Oréal. This includes understanding Walmart's specific requirements, priorities, and culture.
  • Strategic Agility & Influence: Navigates complex situations with multiple perspectives, effectively leveraging data analysis and business acumen to inform sound judgment and decision-making. Communicates persuasively and influences key stakeholders across functions and organizations to achieve shared goals, consistently acting with integrity and focusing on delivering results.
