Marketing Category Director (m/f)

YOUR ROLE:
We're looking for a new colleague (m/f) who will be part of our Consumer Products Division, having the chance to work for the whole L’Oréal Adria Balkan region. Position of Marketing Category Director requires motivated, agile, and organized person who will be responsible for:
- Defining and guiding the regional strategy for two categories, both accounting for 40% of weight of business: Hair Care and Hair Colorations, with an objective to represent them consistently with the international brand positioning and the regional priorities, contributing to continued growth of the brand and the consumer relationship.
- Building, developing and managing the team of 8 people, including PMs, marketing assistants/trainees and Advocacy specialist; coaching them and developing their marketing expertise and know-how.
- Defining the strategic directions and the 3-year marketing plan, guiding portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products’ renewal and animation of core catalogue) and supervising entire go to market process across multiple touchpoints (social, media, promotional plans, advocacy).
- Taking ownership and supervising the entire development process of international launches and creating the right angle of attack to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences locally.
- Taking ownership and managing overall profitability via P&L, respective A&P budget & contributing to forecast accuracy, considering the media, launch and promo plans.
- Spearheading elevation of media & advocacy plans, considering the latest learnings, studies and trends, always being at the forefront of innovation in engagement and influence.
- Leading the marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital/Retail) and the adaptation of communication (imagery, digital, point of sales).
- Working closely with media agency partners to influence media directions, with respecting local specificity and global media rules of engagement.
- Steering the collection and analysis of consumer and market insights, sharing findings with the zone to ensure the consistency of new product development with the country’s needs.
- Leading market and brand research & studies with the CMI, aiming to activate insights accordingly, deploying results.
- Mobilizing other departments (sales, logistic, trade, etc.) and partner agencies to develop a broader business strategy.
- Defining clear messages to present to top management and accompanying the teams in the preparation of meetings.

THE IDEAL PROFILE:
- Preferably holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Has more than 5 years of experience in similar fields.
- Has experience in managing a team
- Has great leadership skills
- Has good knowledge of mass market: competitors, consumers and trends
- Has strong knowledge of media & advocacy landscape
- Has strong presentation and communication skills
- Is detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Works with responsibility and autonomy
- Is skilled in MS Office (with focus on Excel and PowerPoint)
- Speaks Serbian and English fluently
