A Day in the Life
As the Cash to Accounting Coordinator for L'Oréal LATAM, you will be a strategic link between our financial operations and leadership. Reporting into the finance organization, you will lead a team of two analysts, ensuring the complete and accurate management of our cash transaction cycle. This is a key role where you will drive process optimization, implement robust internal controls, and deliver critical financial analysis to guide business decisions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and Develop Your Team: Supervise the daily workflow of two analysts, ensuring monthly closing deadlines are met, and foster their professional growth through continuous coaching and performance management.
- Oversee Cash & Reconciliation: Validate the correct application of all income, oversee the investigation of unapplied payments, and approve all journal entries related to cash transactions.
- Ensure Compliance and Control: Guarantee the complete reconciliation of all bank accounts and ensure strict compliance with internal control policies (such as SOX), identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Drive Strategic Analysis: Lead the preparation of cash position and cash flow reports for management, contribute to cash forecasting, and analyze key performance indicators to improve working capital management.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with a strategic mindset and a proven ability to lead. You are a great fit if you can combine strong analytical skills with a focus on process efficiency and people development. You have:
- A solid background in accounting or finance, with experience supervising cash management processes or leading a team.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI/TR modules) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/NIF) and internal controls.
- The ability to effectively manage people, prioritize tasks under pressure, and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced English skills are highly desirable for regional interaction.
