Summary:
The Assistant Vice President of Creative will be the driving force behind Youth to the People’s visual identity and brand storytelling. This role demands a highly creative and strategic individual capable of translating brand strategy into compelling creative executions across all platforms. They will lead a team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. They will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency and pushing creative boundaries to engage the target audience and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Creative Vision & Strategy: Develop and champion the overall creative vision for Youth to the People, aligning with the brand's strategic objectives and target audience.
• Brand Stewardship: Ensure brand consistency and protect brand integrity across all creative outputs.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of creatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Campaign Development & Execution: Oversee the conception, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all channels (digital, social, print, experiential, etc.).
• Content Creation & Management: Manage the production of high-quality visual and written content, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
• Art Direction: Provide art direction and guidance to the creative team, ensuring a consistent and high standard of visual execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product development, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless campaign integration and alignment.
• Trend Forecasting & Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging for technologies, and cultural shifts to inform creative strategy and ensure the brand remains relevant and engaging.
• Agency Management: Oversee relationships with external agencies and freelancers as needed.
• Budget Management: Manage the creative budget efficiently and effectively.
• Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze campaign performance, identifying areas for optimization and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within the beauty
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• Deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial consumer behavior and cultural trends.
• Exceptional conceptual and visual thinking skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
• Experience managing creative teams and fostering a positive work environment.
• Passion for the Youth to the People brand and its values.
Salary Range: 147k-213k + bonus
