We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business and Data Analyst to join our Travel Retail APAC (TR-APAC) team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic business decisions, and optimizing performance across our diverse portfolio of brands in the Asia-Pacific travel retail market. Develop retail & commercial related data management insights and action plan
- Manage all TR-APAC Point-of Sale(POS) and Brand portfolio data structure from multiple sources to present a unified source of truth across TR-APAC
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to build master data structure, merging multiple data sources working closely with various functional teams such as IT, commercial, retail education, retail design, finance and operation.
- Build and automate Power BI dashboards and Excel reports to visualize insights for key stakeholders across Management, Commercial and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in new transformation projects in Retail to define priorities, share insights and train teams on effective use of data related to Beauty Advisors (BA) Productivity methodology, Retail Footprint and Share of Space
- Own and present critical business data analysis and build reports to measure Retail Performance(Sell-out, POS Channels, BA Productivity and etc.)
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to anticipate investments in Retail network
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across reports and dashboard
- Enforce data management principle and workflow to ensure consistency, accuracy
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as:
- Commercial and Field teams
- Corporate Market Intelligence, Finance, Purchasing and IT
- Senior Stakeholders and external service agencies
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics or a related field
- 5+ years of data / business analyst experience preferably from Direct to Consumer, retail industry or consulting experience with good understanding of full cycle of retail & commercial operation and business implication(back office and front line)
- Strong drive to achieve project outcomes.
- Excellent analytical skills and understanding of business management,
- Familiarity with Salesforce environment and experience with data management/ data visualization tools such as Microsoft BI& Excel
- Detail oriented and proactive to manage data and present independently.
- Strong prioritization skills to focus on delivering impact to business.
- Thrives in a matrix organization to deliver projects and initiatives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence various stakeholders
