The Physical Distribution Executive oversees the operational distribution activities of our Distribution Center operated by Third Party Logistics (3PL) partners, including receipt & deliveries planning, inventory control & warehousing value-added services. The goal is to deliver the goods with best-in-class service to the customers, on-time, in-full, at the right level of quality, and within the agreed budget.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the warehouse operations with our 3PL partners: ensuring a seamless flow of goods through stock reception, orders fulfillment, value-added services, inventory control & traceability.
  • Propose logistics solutions aligned with clients ‘requirements to achieve high level of customers satisfaction
  • Monitor & improve the performance of our logistics operations through tracking and analyzing of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Lead the continuous improvement plan with our partners to streamline operations, minimize waste & achieve cost savings without compromising service quality.
  • Strengthen the collaboration with our third logistics partners & internal departments to ensure consistent service quality and effective coordination.
  • Ensure the compliance of the activities with internal company group norms and countries regulations on warehouse, transportation and customs.
  • Develop comprehensive contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain and proactively managing risks associated.

 

Ideal Profile

  • Graduated in supply-chain management or logistics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse experience or FMCG logistics.
  • Experience with implementing continuous improvements plan in a fast-paced operations environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, ability to root cause issues, empowering you to take responsibility and contribute your own ideas.
  • Proactive attitude & an ability to plan and balance multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Good written and oral communication skills - fluent in English.
  • Good proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Windows application. SAP knowledge is a plus.
