We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal standards, as well as identifying tax risks and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on relevant tax and customs changes to ensure compliance.
• Familiarize oneself with tax and customs internal norms and standards and contribute to their evolution.
• Seek external expertise when necessary and challenge their recommendations.
• Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of tax risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain a professional network to share best practices.
• Clarify and simplify complex tax concepts to facilitate decision-making.
• Actively listen and analyze facts and situations to make accurate diagnoses.
• Identify alternative options and solutions to meet business needs.
• Provide strategic tax and customs advice and recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness of the business.
• Develop strong relationships with clients to raise awareness and promote good tax and customs practices.
• Collaborate effectively with the Tax community and other functions such as CFOs, accountants, controllers, legal, and IT.
• Anticipate and prevent tax risks.
• Evaluate the financial and fiscal impacts to gain a comprehensive understanding of tax and customs challenges.
• Negotiate and convince internal and external stakeholders, including CFOs, Accounting, Controlling, IT, Legal, tax administration, lobbies, and consultants.
• Mobilize internal and external stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues.
• Ensure effective and timely reporting to internal stakeholders, including hierarchy and the Group Tax Department.
• Take ownership of action plans and follow up on tax issues.
