ABOUT THE JOB
L'Oréal Australia's Operations includes our Warehouse, Customer Care, Master Data and Supply Chain teams. These teams work in partnership with our Divisions to ensure we continuously improve our supply chain and achieve greater agility and efficiency to meet the needs of our clients. Operations have an important responsibility to focus on uncompromising standards of quality control, employee safety and our environmental commitments.
- Lead, coach, and develop all team leaders to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Manage and report local service levels from Freight Forwarders, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Actively monitor and challenge lost and damaged goods in transit, implementing measures to minimize such incidents.
- Continuously monitor and challenge replenishment schedules and movements, working closely with the inventory and promotions team to improve efficiency and service.
- Collaborate with Customer Services to establish and continuously improve the Returns Process.
- Proactively lead initiatives to reduce picking errors and improve picking accuracy.
- Work with the picking and inventory team to ensure correct pick slot allocation and system set-up.
- Prepare and present operations KPI results, SLA, and productivity initiatives during monthly Logistics KPI and Supply Chain meetings.
- Ensure all team leaders and permanent members of the operations have clear and written objectives, and conduct performance reviews as per the Staff Grading System.
- Coordinate regularly with the Inventory Manager on stock adjustment issues.
- Manage the stock ordering of packaging materials, ensuring continuous supply as required.
- Execute and report on any project as instructed by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
ABOUT YOU
- Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Understanding of the third-party logistics market and NZ Freight market.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
- Strong commitment to work responsibilities and a continuous improvement focus.
