Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Overseeing the full marketing budget, anticipating risks & opportunities.
Preparing the marketing (pre)budget bottom-up, by department (digital, pr, media, research, capex) and by brand/sub-brands.
Daily monitoring of administrative process behind marketing expenses (PO creation, appropriate classification).
Review return on investment related to marketing expenditure/sales deduction, analyze the effectiveness and propose suggestion/solution
Review the monthly business performance of each brand and provide strategic and financial decision/action plan partnering with the brand general manager
Implement internal control function within the department (fixed asset capitalization, purchasing system, promotion planning /marketing proposal)
Undertake all cost analyses in order to detect risks and propose the actions required to maintain budgetary objectives
Manage the profitability of each brand under the professional products division
Manage marketing spending to be aligned with the budget and analyze the effectiveness of the marketing spending in order to maximize the return on investment
Act as a business partner with the commercial team and marketing team to drive and optimize the investment in product and customer
Manage forecast and sales to ensure the company is able to achieve the target revenue
Prepare trends and budgets and present the same to stakeholders
Requirements:
Have a complete understanding of the Indian FMCG commercial working environment
Proficiency in MS Office & having broad understanding of SAP would be an asset.
Capability of communicating in open and with respect manner.
Being pro-active business partner to a wide range of stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
Flexibility, readiness to (ad-hoc) challenges and working within tight deadlines.
