A Day in the Life
As a Senior Buyer for Direct Sourcing, you will be a key player at our Clark, New Jersey Operations hub, reporting to the Category Lead. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic sourcing projects for the Consumer Products Division, working closely with business partners to optimize costs while enhancing overall value and innovation.
In this role, you will:
- Drive Sourcing Strategy: Support the development and execution of long-term sourcing plans, lead the end-to-end sourcing process from spend analysis to contract implementation, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
- Manage Stakeholder & Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to influence business decisions and manage a robust supplier partnership program to drive performance and innovation.
- Lead Commercial Negotiations: Independently lead a broad range of commercial negotiations and contracts, working in close collaboration with legal counsel and business partners.
- Ensure Financial & Risk Oversight: Manage financial analysis for reporting, budgeting, and trends. You will also assess business risks and develop comprehensive continuity plans.

You are a great match if you have:
- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Sourcing, or a related discipline.
- Strategic Sourcing: Proven ability to develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies that deliver value.
- Negotiation: Strong skills in leading commercial and contract negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to build relationships and influence decisions across various functions.
- Project Management: The capacity to lead complex sourcing projects independently from inception to completion.
- Financial Acumen: Competency in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management.

- Base Salary Range: $77,400 – $110,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
