A Day in the Life
As our Scientific Communication Specialist, based in Bogotá, you will be the scientific cornerstone for our Dermatological Beauty brands across the Central America and Andean Region. Reporting to the Medical Manager, your mission is to translate complex scientific data into powerful communication strategies that build brand credibility and empower our medical teams to forge strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and adapting scientific content and communication tools for all medical touchpoints.
- Driving the multichannel medical communication strategy, both online and offline.
- Analyzing scientific trends, competitor activities, and medical insights to inform our strategy.
- Collaborating closely with marketing and medical teams to ensure scientific accuracy across all brand communications.
- Supporting the organization and execution of key medical events, congresses, and training sessions.
We Are Looking For
You are a perfect fit for this role if you are a curious and analytical professional with a deep appreciation for science and communication. You excel at translating intricate scientific concepts into clear, engaging messages and thrive in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. We are looking for someone with:
- A degree in a health-related field (General Medical Practitioner or Dermatologist preferred).
- Experience of +3 years in the pharmaceutical or dermo-cosmetic industry, ideally in a medical or scientific communication role.
- Scientific Acumen: Ability to translate scientific data into compelling brand stories.
- Communication Skills: Excellence in crafting and delivering clear messages to medical audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Capacity to analyze the medical landscape and contribute to brand strategy.
- Collaboration: A talent for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and events.
