Job Title: Regional Education Manager, Redken

Division: Professional Products Division (PPD) 

Location: Field Remote (New York). Must live in NY or NJ, PA, CT, NEAR A MAJOR AIRPORT

Reports To: Director of Education

What You Will Learn:

The Regional Education Manager will play a critical role in elevating the impact and influence of Regional Educators in the Professional Products Division. This role requires a deep understanding of the professional beauty landscape, expertise in educational approaches, and a demonstrated history of being an exceptional educator and facilitator. In addition to possessing proven success in coaching and developing high-performing teams, the ideal candidate will serve as a role model and mentor, embodying the highest standards of educational delivery and brand representation. This role will directly contribute to the growth and development of our Regional Educators, ensuring excellence in their representation of our brands and their delivery of exceptional education experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Education (30%)

  • Assume the responsibilities of a Regional Educator, conducting field education sessions in top strategic accounts & high level conquest accounts and engaging directly with salon professionals.

Management of Regional Educators (70%)

  • Performance Management:
    • Evaluate the technical skills, presentation skills, and product knowledge of Regional Educators against established benchmarks and standards.
    • Ensure the accuracy of product and technical information delivered by Regional Educators.
    • Uphold consistency in technical and product presentations across the division.
  • Coaching and Development:
    • Coach and mentor Regional Educators in the territory, focusing on enhancing their required skills and education competencies to foster career growth.
    • Assess and identify individual training needs of Regional Educators to guarantee consistent, high-quality support and service to customers and clients.
    • Conduct regular status calls with each team member to provide ongoing support and guidance.
    • Facilitate in-person development and training sessions to nurture the team's professional growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Planning:
    • Collaborate closely with District Managers (DMs) and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to ensure effective territory planning for education initiatives.
    • Identify and maximize new partnership opportunities for Regional Educators within the assigned territory.
  • Performance Reviews and Reporting:
    • Manage the performance review process for Regional Educators, including annual goal setting and mid-year reviews.
    • Deliver comprehensive reports on team performance to Directors of Education (DOEs).
  • Compliance and Budget Management:
    • Ensure Regional Educators adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and manage fuel and travel and expense (T&E) budgets for the team.
  • New Partnership Event Leadership:
    • Serve as the education lead at New Partnership Events, overseeing educational content and delivery.
    • Manage event logistics, ensuring seamless execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Cosmetology License
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the beauty industry, with a strong focus on education and training.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful education programs across multiple channels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
