Today, we are looking for a passionate, highly technical, and agile Project Engineer to join our Engineering team at the Bogota Plant.

Your main mission will be to lead and execute industrial engineering projects from end to end, ensuring the optimization of our production lines under the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.

 What will your main challenges be?

• CAPEX Project Leadership: Design, quote, and execute engineering projects (infrastructure, processes, automation, or packaging), ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation: Identify optimization opportunities in our production lines and implement technologies that drive the plant's operational efficiency.
• Sustainability in Action: Ensure every project is aligned with our L'Oréal for the Future commitments (reducing carbon footprint, water stewardship, and energy optimization).
• EHS & Contractor Management: Supervise the safe execution of works on-site, fostering a zero-accident culture with external suppliers and contractors.
• Multidisciplinary Synergy: Collaborate closely with Production, EHS, Quality, and Procurement teams to guarantee a flawless transition of projects into daily operations.

What profile are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proven experience participating in or leading engineering projects within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing plants, the pharmaceutical industry, and/or companies manufacturing industrial production equipment.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial project management, engineering methodologies, and budget control.
  • Proficiency in design and planning tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of Industrial Safety and Environment (EHS) regulations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong leadership with teams and contractors, result-oriented mindset, and sharp problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
• Languages: Professional proficiency in English is highly valued (for interacting with global teams and international equipment suppliers).
