Job Title: Media & DDX Manager (Media & Data-Driven Experience) Location: L'Oréal Egypt Department: Media / CDMO Team
Role Overview As the Media & DDX Manager, you will be the primary point of reference for all media and data-driven experience topics for L'Oréal Egypt. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee complex media governance and financial controls while pioneering our 1P data agenda. You will bridge the gap between media activation, technical infrastructure, and financial compliance to ensure L'Oréal remains at the forefront of the beauty-tech industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Media Governance & Excellence
- Strategic Oversight: Act as the lead point of contact for media topics in Egypt, ensuring all agency contract items, BI deliverables, and planning processes are delivered with excellence.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain critical trackers, including the Golden Rules Index and the competitive reports
- Agency Management: Lead weekly and monthly reviews with agency partners to monitor progress and ensure alignment with L'Oréal’s high standards of execution.
2. Data-Driven Experience (DDX) & 1P Data Agenda
- Data Collection & Activation: Develop and implement efficient strategies to collect 1st Party (1P) data, preparing the subsidiary for the future.
- Campaign Integration: Ensure all campaigns have the correct technical and legal setup (Legal, Tech, and Zone ecosystem) for data collection prior to launch.
- Value Maximization: Activate collected data across multiple channels to drive personalized consumer experiences and maximize ROI.
3. Partner & Tech Stack Management
- CRM & Tech Partners: Manage relationships with CRM partners and multiple tech providers (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Jellyfish, software houses, and 3PL providers).
- Ecosystem Connectivity: Ensure the L'Oréal tech stack is seamlessly connected and "launch-ready" for all marketing initiatives through reading and following the APIs processes and aligning the right parties to get it done
4. Governance & Access Management
- System Champion: Act as the primary administrator for access management across all media and data tools.
- Data Flow Integrity: Oversee 1P data flows between Salesforce and the L'Oréal Global tech stack, ensuring all data collection adheres to strict legal frameworks and internal guidelines.
5. Financial Planning & Controls
- Financial Lead: Take sole responsibility across all divisions for managing the media financial process.
- Compliance: Oversee budget accuracy (AMP), actualization, and the Goods Receipt (GR) process, ensuring the agency billing cycle is 100% accurate and timely.
Supported Profile
- Experience: Proven track record in Media Management, Digital Marketing, or Data/CRM roles.
- Technical Savvy: Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Stack (DC360), and data visualization tools.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to reconcile complex financial data and media performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to lead agency partners and collaborate with regional Zone teams and local Brand leads.
- Agility: A proactive problem-solver who can navigate the intersection of marketing, legal, and IT.
