Job Title: Manager, Events—Kiehl’s Education & Events

The Events Manager is a dynamic and detail-oriented professional responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of brand events. This role requires significant creativity and strategic thinking to design and develop seasonal events that are aligned with brand animations to deliver key strategic objectives. This is achieved through close collaboration relevant teams to bring event concepts to life and manage logistical details. The Events Manager plays a crucial role in creating impactful brand experiences, contributing to strategic eventing initiatives, and meticulously managing event resources and budgets.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and creative conceptualization of seasonal events, ensuring alignment with current brand animation, strategic frame objectives, and close collaboration with Marketing and Shopper Engagement teams.
  • Contribute significantly to the overall Eventing Strategy alongside the VP and Director annually.
  • Lead conference production for the annual National Sales Meeting and Leadership Summit. 
  • Create facilitator's guides, presentation scripts and participant materials that guide facilitators.
  • Develop compelling Event collateral in partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Program the Events Calendar in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the ordering and distribution of all necessary eventing supplies.
  • Manage the Event Budget ensuring fiscal responsibility and adherence to financial guidelines.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in event management, project management, or a related field, preferably within the beauty or luxury retail industry.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in presenting and negotiating.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess event impact and budget adherence.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently within rigorous deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong presentation skills for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)required.
  • Experience with event management software or platforms preferred.
  • Ability to sit and use normal office equipment (phone, computer etc.) more than 90% of the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to travel 20% or when needed for event execution.

Salary Range: $98,400-$140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
