SENIOR AREA MANAGER
Reporting to Retail Director
I am the Senior Area Manager. My mission is to drive exceptional consumer experiences and land ambitious retail results for L’Oréal Luxe brands in my Area and Region. Alongside developing the store teams to deliver retail growth in my own Area, I will impact the results of the entire Region by animating my team of mobile Category & Activation experts who will execute engaging events across all stores. I will also take the lead in creating new and collaborative ways of working between Field Retail & Education teams to develop a high-performing, engaged and motivated field force in my region.
Key Responsibilities:
RETAIL PERFORMANCE
- Achieving retail growth for the area and region, including setting targets in line with Brand sell out targets.
- Gaining market share (rankings/growth vs market).
- Implementing an offline segmentation strategy & top doors growth.
- Analysing & developing of Retail KPI.
- Executing brand calendar, activation & events strategy for the region leveraging the expertise of the mobile team (artistry, categoryexperts).
- Manage the region’s incentive budget to drive retail performance and achieve sell-out objectives.
- Contribute my experience to the broader divisional Retail & Education projects.
CONSUMER EXPERIENCE
- Deliver exceptional consumer experience, validated by Mystery Shopper results & NPS.
- Identify areas of opportunity to enhance CXE & collaborate with Field / Education teams to take action as needed.
- Be a champion for ensuring Omni BA, Beauty Tech & CRM Strategy in your region is executed.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Manage a team of RAE, Category Experts, and mobiles for the region. Ensure the eventing/animation calendar is up to date —Arbitrate requests for mobile support for the region.
- Mentor Area Managers & deputise for Retail Director when needed.
- Deliver a seamless and best in class BA experience.
- Coach and develop teams, through on -the- job, classroom and peer development.
- Performance management.
- Stakeholder management.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Commission & incentive end-to-end validation process for the region.
- Budget management for the region (FTE, T&E, Events, Agency, Overtime), including analysis & corrective actions.
- Collaboration with Field Services to ensure operational excellence.
- Custodian of Brand Equity & Luxury Expression of our brands (VM/RD excellence).
- BTQ Operations, Stock control & Audit points are adhered and achieved.
