What You Will Do:

 

 

The Director of Omni Education Development supports assigned Brands as a pivotal extension, enabling the successful implementation and optimization of their existing education strategies across all SalonCentric and State RDA business channels.

 

You will contribute to cohesive education plans, aligning with Brand objectives and Distributor partner business models. This includes programming for Store, In-Salon, Digital platforms, and Market Events, ensuring a clear PPD Education learning journey for the stylist community and field sales teams. You will ensure assigned brands are well-communicated, given appropriate space, and a fair share of voice within national education strategies and PPD discussions with internal and external partners, including SalonCentric (Street, Store & Franchise) and State RDA, helping them achieve the right presence in PPD meetings and facilitating as needed.

 

The Director will drive the execution of the Omni Education vision, focusing on process optimization, data-supported guidance, and providing ROI benchmarks to support Brands and all channels. While the brands retain ultimate strategy ownership, you will collaborate closely with various internal and external teams (Omni Operations, Learning & Development, Business Development, PPD Brand Education, Training, Marketing, CRM, LEVEL Loyalty, Access, Shows & Events, Distributor Education, Sales, and Marketing teams, Beautista and IBeAuthentic) to ensure appropriate programs are executed and deployed. You will be the primary contact for Brand and Distributor partners regarding education deployment, communications, and productivity towards goals.

 

Additionally, you will lead key Transformation and Divisional initiatives, fostering operational excellence. This involves collaboration with the key cross functional teams, developing strategies to amplify PPD Education through SOPs, communications, and marketing for field teams and customers. You will also be responsible for training and development of internal assigned Brand Education teams to enhance the accuracy of the Education booking process and data output via the LEVEL platform and SalesForce Education Management System, evolving ways of working with cross-functional partners, and assessing progress with recommended adjustments to advance efforts

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic ROI & Program Assessment: Utilize data to build education P&Ls and analyze the Return on Investment (ROI) of education programs. Assess the overall effectiveness of specific initiatives to develop data-backed strategic recommendations for assigned brands.
  • Data Insight Generation: Translate complex, multi-channel data into high-level business insights and actionable recommendations for brand leadership.
  • KPI Management: Design, communicate, and manage comprehensive reporting on Brand Education KPIs. Perform regular data analysis to identify performance gaps and drive operational excellence.
  • Digital Integration: Partner with Distributor, Vendors and Brand Digital teams to enhance the data accuracy and accessibility of digital education tracking via divisional platforms.
  • Strategy Alignment: Support brand education strategy execution and alignment across all channels using data-supported insights.
  • Standardization: Standardize education processes, promotions, and booking procedures to ensure data integrity for field reporting.
  • Transversal Deployment: Develop and deploy universal processes and communications for transversal education topics.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a key communication and data liaison for education deployment with distributor partners.
  • Calendar Equity: Facilitate an equitable and balanced education calendar across all Brands by market, ensuring fair representation based on data benchmarks.
  • Launch Support: Collaborate with cross-functional PPD partners on brand launches to ensure effective, measurable education support for sales goals.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the Omni Education budget by assigned Brands, including reconciliation, data auditing, and operational approvals (PO, PRF, Kelly OCG, Beautista).

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree or commensurate professional experience is required
  • 7+ years of experience leading, training and motivating teams and high volume of business with with a demonstrated ability to communicate vision and execute strategy
  • Extensive experience within a big box retail and/or chain model, preferably with beauty products or retail background.

  • Ability and interest in travel (up to 35%) and weekends as needed
  • Advanced proficiency in applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, Power BI, and Salesforce 
  • Experience in data compliancy

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-years experience in Professional Beauty Industry
  • 3-5 years experience in Professional Beauty Education 
  • 3-5 years of event planning, education administration and/or related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power-Point, Excel, and Word (required) and SalesForce.com (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferable
  • Cosmetology license optional

Salary range: $138K-$200K
