What you will do:

Design and maintain data structures that reflect business rules and workflows.
Ensure consistency and traceability between raw, curated, and semantic layers.
Translate business requirements into structured technical and logical models
Document relationships, transformation logic, and field definitions clearly.
Validate data across layers using rule-based tests and SQL checks.
Participate in defining granularities, hierarchies, and transformation points.
Support product and engineering teams with business knowledge and modeling expertise.
Evaluate and propose integration structures for new data sources.
Define and enforce logic for data unification, enrichment, and version control.
Ensure model scalability to support analytics, visualization, and automation.

What we are looking for:

Solid SQL skills and understanding of relational and analytical data modeling.
Experience with data transformation tools (dbt, Power BI modeling, BigQuery).
Familiarity with process mapping and logic structuring tools.
Ability to translate functional logic into technical data designs.
Strong documentation skills and attention to logic clarity.
Problem-solving mindset, comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving logic.
Business-to-technical translation ability, communication across diverse technical teams.

Team player with good collaboration habits across business and tech roles.

Years of experience required:
4-6 years in data-related roles, ideally 2–3 in a modeling or validation-heavy position.

Tools & Technologies:

SQL (intermediate to advanced)
Power BI Data Model or LookML
BigQuery or another columnar data warehouse
Lucidchart / process mapping tools
Google Sheets / Excel (for logic validation)
Data documentation platforms (Confluence, dbt docs)

Technical knowledge / certifications:

Basic understanding of ELT pipelines
Experience with logical modeling and traceability documentation
Familiarity with UAT/test case development for data pipelines
Solid understanding of business domain data structures
