A Day in the Life

As an Assistant HR Operation Manager in the Total Rewards team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations, employee benefits management & compliance ambassador for L’Oréal Vietnam. Reporting to the Head of Rewards, you’ll collaborate with local HR teams, regional People Services, and external vendors to deliver accurate and timely payroll service and benefits competitiveness.  

Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:  

  • Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in data compilation, salary calculations, and compliance with local tax and statutory regulations.  
  • Benefits Administration: Maintain and enhance the L’Oréal Share & Care initiatives, including health insurance, recognition programs, and employee well-being activities.  
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely statutory filings, year-end reporting, and adherence to local government regulations; Implement, maintain and update HR policy to align with legal and group standard ; Conduct regular external & internal audit processes, documentation and address areas for improvement.
  • HR Information System: Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and updates of HRIS platforms ; generate HR analytics for requested topic ; ensure the data iss accurate and comply with global and local policies.
  • Expat Management: coordinating with relocation vendor in all expat aspect of Relocation support.
  • Collaboration & Support: Act as a key liaison with internal teams, external auditors, and payroll vendors to address queries and ensure smooth operations.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Share feedback with the Head of Rewards and contribute to process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Other tasks are assigned by company and line manager

We Are Looking For
 You’ll thrive in this role if you have:  

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.  
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll & HR operations, with a strong understanding of local tax and statutory regulations.  
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and familiarity with automation tools.  
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).  
  • Experience with SuccessFactors (a plus).  
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
