What You Will Do 
  
 As the AVP of Marketing for Kiehl's, you'll lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies to drive brand growth and elevate Kiehl's position in the prestige skincare market. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will manage a high-performing team of eight, including three direct reports and five indirect reports, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in sales, product development, education, and communications. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a beloved brand, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to capture new market opportunities and build upon Kiehl's rich heritage.

 

Job Duties and Accountabilities 

 

  • Creates and ensures the successful execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share; Responsible ultimately for the complete strategic vision for the brand within a commercial context for 3-5 years
  • Develops strategic business drivers through collaborative effort with key functional partners designed to build sales and maintain effective brand image and innovation
  • Represents brand for cross-functional strategic and update meetings to include new product development, print and packaging, education, brand updates and presentations
  • Responsible for the development, monitoring, reconciliation, and review of the departmental budget
  • Responsible for successfully leading and developing members of the Marketing team

 

 

What We Are Looking For 
 The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial marketing leader with a passion for the beauty industry and a proven track record of driving brand growth. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong understanding of the prestige skincare market.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods business. Experience within the luxury sector strongly preferred. 
  • Exceptional financial acumen required including proven successful experience with budgeting and P&L management. 
  • Proven leadership skills including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories
  • Proven ability to effectively present ideas and marketing strategies to all levels of senior management

Additional Benefits Information As Follows 
  
Total Compensation $182,400-264,500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
