JOB SUMMARY  

In this exciting role, you will manage and roll-out events and animations for a selection of+30 L’Oréal Group multi-division brands in Travel Retail West & Emerging for Americas Zone, reporting to a Retail Design Group Manager and in collaboration with retailers and commercial teams.   

 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

Operational responsibility 

  • Deploy in-store brand animations, adhering to the brand book developed by the Brand Hub design team, ensuring a consistent and engaging customer experience. 
  • Implement product launches, with clear segmentation by store type: Pop-up, podiums, HPP (High Priority Places), SPP (Secondary Priority Places).  
  • Manage the operational implementation of launches, ensuring retail excellence, budget adherence, and integration of eco-design principles. Proactively identify and address potential challenges to ensure smooth execution. 
  • Guarantee optimal time-to-market in perfect alignment with the retail launch calendar. 

 

Strategic vision & innovation: 

  • Partner with Area Managers and retailers to develop and implement growth strategies, leveraging retail expertise to optimize brand positioning and drive sales performance. 
  • Strategically manage budget investments, aligning allocations with retail segmentation to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives. 
  • Elevate the role of in-store animations, positioning them as a powerful media channel to engage customers and enhance brand visibility. 

 

Growth & Performance management: 

  • Manage and consolidate the animations registered on Easy Trade tool, collaborating with the sales force to ensure accurate visibility of operations. 
  • Manage financial and purchase process (including PO creation on MY Market) -  Guarantee pricing grid consistency across POS segments. 
  • Proactively manage POSM visual and video content updates with visual merchandising teams, ensuring impactful in-store communication. 
  • Develop innovative eco-design solutions for the L'Oréal for The Future program. 
  • Conduct quality control of production at the workshop and in-store before implementation, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. 
  • Share best practices with internal teams and TR Zone fostering continuous improvement and consistent execution

On your job:  

  • Architecture Execution: Applying the architectural guidelines to a retail environment and supervising the construction or renovation of retail spaces while ensuring that eco-design principles are followed, as well as upholding after-sales services 
  • Scenography: Designing relevant and inspiring O+O space, atmosphere and mood which supports the brand narrative and strengthens the emotional bond between the brand and the customers.  
  • Brand local adaptation: Meeting local customer expectations while respecting each brand identity and sense of purpose whilst creating the biggest environmental or social value in the markets. 
  • Project planning management: Planning the correct short-term and long-term actions and continuously updating and prioritizing them in order to achieve strategic objectives while meeting strategic deadlines. 
  • Budget management: Creating and managing a budget to control the costs and profitability of a department or project. 

 

 

PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

  • Creative/innovative & technical vision (incl. materials knowledge to grow durability and limit maintenance) 
  • Strong autonomy & organization, comfortable in complex environments  
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders (Local retailers and Suppliers, Marketing/Commercial teams) 
  • Image and graphic design expertise 
  • Local cultural sensitivity 
  • Expertise Sketch up Pro, Pack Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop), Autocad recommended 
  • English Mandatory  
  • 1st experience in Retail Design requested
