A Day in the Life of a Senior Product Manager…
As Senior Product Manager for YSL in Romania, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of luxury beauty. Reporting to the Brand Director, you will manage a dynamic product portfolio and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver exceptional results. You will be responsible for:
- Leading YSL Product Innovation: Spearhead the development and implementation of the 3-year product roadmap for YSL, aligned with the global brand strategy and local market dynamics. Identify new product opportunities and lead the brand's expansion into emerging categories within the luxury beauty market.
- Driving YSL Product Performance: Own the YSL product portfolio P&L and all key performance indicators. Develop pricing strategies, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and return on investment.
- Building Strong Consumer & Customer Relationships: Champion consumer-centricity by leveraging market research and insights to develop targeted product development and launches that resonate with the YSL consumer. Collaborate with sales and education teams to create compelling luxury product experiences across all touchpoints.
- Fostering Collaboration and Innovation: Mobilize cross-functional teams (Sales, logistics, supply chain, etc.) and partner agencies to execute integrated product launches and campaigns that embody the YSL brand identity. Lead the adaptation of global product strategies for the Romanian market, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Developing High-Performing YSL Products: Manage the lifecycle of YSL products within your portfolio, from ideation to launch and beyond. Conduct market analysis, gather consumer insights to develop innovative and high-performing products that embody the YSL legacy of luxury and innovation.
We Are Looking For…
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing, with a proven track record of success in product development, strategic planning, and P&L management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market data and consumer insights into actionable product strategies for the luxury market.
- Exceptional project management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and P&L management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation within the luxury beauty space.
