KEY JOB  ACCOUNTABILITIES

Implements medical field team strategy at regional level and manage a team of medical representatives. 


Roll out and ensure operational monitoring of the regional medical strategy

  • Implement an action plan in line with brand strategy and medical visit strategy.
  • Organise events involving health care professionals in conjunction with medical relations. 
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative dash boards: interpreting results, circulating information, implementing corrective action and following up on activity.
  • Roll out the dispensing strategy in field
  • Monitor and coach medical representatives. 
  • Allocate resources while optimising ROI.
  • Ensure synergy with commercial teams to increase sell-out.


Manage and drive the team in line with medical detailing’s strategy of excellence

  • Organise, coordinate, manage and motivate the team. 
  • Guide professional development monitoring of medical representatives: continuous assessment of scientific, product and regulatory knowledge and proficiency in communication techniques and tools (CRM/CLM platform). 
  • Monitor and drive the team’s action plans at area level


Develop local medical relations 

  • Identify local KOLs and propose them to Medical Relations Manager
  • Monitor professional relations with KOLs and institutional partners. 
  • Coordinate organisation and participation in congresses


Ensure links and collaboration with headquarter-based teams (marketing, medical relations, sales, digital, etc.) 

  • Ensure competitive and environmental monitoring related to medical activity and feed it back up to headquarters.
  • Ensure training and respect of both internal and external ethical standards regarding relations with health professionals.


PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES


 MEDICAL DISPENSING SKILLS  

  • Targeting and segmentation follow-up. 
  • Builds an interactive and customized dialogue with the physician with medical representative
  • Treats objections, obtains prescriptions and orders
  • Creates and updates the physician’s file.


SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE 

  • Knows skin and hair physio-pathologies and the medical environment. 
  • Knows our products and competition (formulas and patients benefits).
  • Develops one’s local medical network.
  • Knows regulatory constraints.


MANAGEMENT SKILLS  

  • Daily management of medical representatives
  • Insures the roll out at area level of national medical visit strategy


ENTREPRENEURSHIP ON ONE’S TERRITORY 

  • Analyses key performance indicators on one’s territory. 
  • Implements and adjusts sectoral action plan.
  • Interacts with the Sales Rep(s) to build synergies. 
  • Develops Rx counter training in the point of sales.


COLLABORATIVE BRAND & TEAM BUILDING 

  • Develops competitive intelligence.
  • Participates in prospective task forces.
