YOUR FUTURE TEAM

  • For the IT Finance and Operations Department at L’Oréal, in the Product Conception Domain, this team is working mainly for Development & Packaging teams especially for tools dedicated to Qualification management solutions and transversal “expertise” tools.  
  • We operate a set of tools that support their processes and workflows, mainly with homegrown solution like Compack, GECO, .. and also expert tools “on the shelf” like Catia, Solidworks, PDM, …  
  • We are also managing software licences for Dev&Pack users as per group requirements. 

 

 

What a day in the life of the IT Application team looks like: 

Detail of the mission:

 

  • IT Application Manager: Plan, organize and manage internal/external resources to deliver projects on budget, on time and to quality standards.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate stakeholders from Operations Dev & Pack teams and IT to stay on track with their needs and constraints in the timeframe required.  
  • Identify project risks and make trade-off decisions. Supplier support monitoring: SLA, response time, categorization, prioritization and service quality 
  • Regarding expert tools : providing guidelines & best practices on the Non-regression Tool (expanding the usage of these automation to other domains & department at IT Ops&Fin, checking what is done by those teams and providing optimization tips. 

 

  • This may evolve depending on opportunities in the domain.  

 

3 Main Challenges specific to the position:

  • To ensure applications efficiency & secure the RUN mode with the provider
  • To manage the delivery of new functionalities with business teams prioritization
  • To follow & optimize the process related to Software licences management and relationship with editors/resellers
