A Day in the Life
As a Formulation Intern in our Research & Innovation team, you will dive into the science behind beauty, contributing to the creation of next-generation skincare or haircare products. Reporting to a senior scientist, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory environment, turning scientific concepts into tangible innovations.
You will be responsible for:
- Product Formulation & Evaluation: Engage in the end-to-end creation of skincare/haircare formulas, including hands-on bench work and performing sensory evaluations to ensure product texture and performance meet L'Oréal's high standards.
- Quality & Stability Assessment: Conduct rigorous quality and stability tests (e.g., pH, viscosity, microscopy) to ensure the robustness and safety of new formulas.
- Scientific Research: Perform academic literature reviews to stay updated on scientific breakthroughs and integrate new findings into product development projects.
- Project Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, contributing to the complete formulation lifecycle—from initial concept and optimization to industrial-scale transformation

We Are Looking For
We are looking for an individual with a strong scientific curiosity and a drive to innovate. An ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who can translate theoretical knowledge into practical laboratory work. You are a great match if you have:
- A background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy.
- A keen interest in the complete product formulation lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- An ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
