A Day in the Life
As a Unit Production Manager, you will lead our manufacturing operations in Lahore/Sheikhupura, driving the factory toward new heights of operational excellence. You will be at the heart of our production, responsible for ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality while managing large, multi-shift teams.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead Production Operations: Steer end-to-end production to meet ambitious targets for service, quality, and cost, ensuring schedule attainment and operational stability across all manufacturing lines.
- Drive Technical Excellence: Oversee equipment maintenance and asset reliability programs to reduce downtime and enhance performance, coordinating with OEMs and technical partners for critical support.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Implement operational excellence methodologies (like Lean, TPM, or 5S) to improve equipment efficiency (OEE), reduce waste, and optimize production capacity.
- Manage Performance & Budgets: Take charge of CAPEX and OPEX proposals, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure strict financial discipline while supporting overall factory productivity.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a results-driven manufacturing leader with a strong technical background who thrives in a dynamic environment. You are a problem-solver who can balance strategic operational goals with empowering and developing your teams.
We believe you'll be a great match if you have:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and significant experience in production operations, preferably within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry.
- Production Leadership: Proven ability to manage large, multi-shift production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Technical & Maintenance Excellence: Strong hands-on experience in improving equipment reliability and coordinating maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: A track record of using methodologies like Lean or TPM to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
- Team Management & Coaching: A commitment to building high-performing teams through coaching and capability development.
- Analytical & Financial Acumen: Skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and managing budgets like CAPEX/OPEX.
