A Day in the Life

As a Key Account Supply Chain Manager for Travel Retail Asia Pacific, you will act as the key operational partner for our strategic retail clients. You will be the primary point of contact for all supply chain matters, ensuring seamless collaboration and driving mutual growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Client Partnership: Represent L'Oréal in negotiations and discussions with key retailers on all operational topics, from logistic flows to collaborative forecasting, building strong, trust-based relationships. 
  • Inventory Management: Lead the consolidation, analysis, and management of Stock-In-Trade (SIT) data. You will provide insights to anticipate stock issues and propose actions to optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborative Projects: Initiate and lead joint projects with retailers, focusing on initiatives like data sharing (EDI), joint forecasting, and sustainability improvements to enhance our shared business. 
  • Operational Excellence: Act as the central coordinator within our Operations teams to resolve complex issues, such as regulatory hurdles or shipping adjustments, ensuring business continuity and client satisfaction.

 

We Are Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and strategic individual with a strong service orientation. You are a natural collaborator who can navigate complex environments and build effective partnerships.

 

You are a great match if you have:

  • Supply Chain & Business Acumen: A solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their impact on business, with experience in the Travel Retail or a related FMCG sector. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships and collaborate effectively with both external clients and internal cross-functional teams, especially Commercial departments.
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, manage inventory, and drive data-informed decisions. Knowledge of demand planning is a plus.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and executing projects, particularly in a client-facing context.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Demonstrated excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills to spearhead key initiatives and drive alignment across teams and retail partners
