The Professional Products Division (PPD) is the founding division of L’Oréal, dedicated to being the partner of choice for the professional hair industry. We inspire stylists and create desirability among consumers with meaningful brands and cutting-edge technologies. Our 8-brand portfolio is exclusively designed for salons and professional customers, making us a leader in the professional beauty space.

We’re looking for a Technical Expert to join our Professional Expertise Team and help us continue to lead the way in the professional hair industry.

A Day in the Life

As a Technical Expert, you’ll:

Test formulas across PPD brands to identify key properties and suitability for the UKI market.

Collaborate with international testing and DMI teams on testing objectives, roundtable discussions, and concept analysis.

Enhance testing accuracy by adapting protocols to reflect real salon practices.

Deliver upskilling sessions on new product development (NPD) to the education community pre-launch.

Build clear, informative reports on testing outcomes and recommendations to support successful market launches.

Organize and participate in international workshops, focus groups, and mentoring programs.

Collaborate with Scientific & Regulatory departments to ensure aligned communication and claims.

Continuously develop your hairdressing skills, industry knowledge, and application techniques to promote professional services.

About You

You’re a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with:

 Demonstrative experience as a Technical Consultant/Education Executive.

Advanced presentation skills and confidence in delivering technical information.

A strong understanding of salon practices and Health & Safety best practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Curiosity, patience, and a solution-oriented mindset.

The ability to build genuine relationships, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively at all levels.
