Senior Makeup Artist, L'Oréal Luxe Multi-Brand (6-Month Maternity Leave Contract)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Makeup Artist to join our prestigious L'Oréal Luxe team, representing a portfolio of iconic brands across Sydney. This limited tenure role is available for a 6-month period.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Makeup Artist for L'Oréal Luxe Brands, you’ll be an ambassador for our diverse and prestigious portfolio of luxury beauty. Based in Sydney, you will elevate the client experience at various counters and boutiques, embodying the unique elegance, innovation, and sophistication of brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme, Giorgio Armani Beauté, Urban Decay, and Kiehl's. Your role will involve using your advanced artistry to bring these brands to life, creating stunning looks and fostering deep connections with our discerning clientele.

• Masterful Artistry: Leverage your advanced makeup skills to create bespoke and on-trend looks that reflect the distinct aesthetic of each L'Oréal Luxe brand. You’ll inspire and educate clients on our innovative makeup, luxurious skincare, and captivating fragrances across the portfolio.
• Elite Clienteling: Provide personalized, high-touch service, understanding individual client needs deeply to offer tailored recommendations and immersive product demonstrations that build strong, enduring loyalty to our luxury brands.
• Sales & Brand Performance: Drive sales and achieve ambitious targets, contributing significantly to the success of our L'Oréal Luxe presence in Sydney. Your expertise will not only sell products but also elevate the client's perception and connection to each brand.
• Multi-Brand Representation: Create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that truly reflects the innovation, glamour, and unique spirit of the entire L'Oréal Luxe portfolio. You’ll ensure every client interaction is a memorable luxury experience.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: As a senior artist, you'll contribute to a dynamic team environment, sharing your expertise and collaborating with different brand teams to ensure the collective success of our presence in the region.
  
  

We Are Looking For

You’re the perfect match for this role if you possess:

• Exceptional Makeup Artistry: Extensive experience (minimum of 3-5 years preferred) as a professional makeup artist, ideally within luxury retail, with a demonstrable portfolio showcasing advanced techniques and adaptability across diverse brand aesthetics.
• Luxury Retail Expertise: Proven success in a high-end, multi-brand retail environment, with a strong focus on clienteling and achieving sales targets.
• Passion for Luxury Beauty: A profound connection to, and deep understanding of, multiple prestigious beauty brands, their heritage, and their contemporary visions, with an ability to communicate their unique stories.
• Client Relationship Mastery: Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport, understand client desires, and deliver an exceptional luxury service experience.
• Results-Driven & Proactive: A highly motivated approach to exceeding sales goals and contributing positively to team success.
• Adaptability: The ability to seamlessly integrate into high-performing brand teams and make an immediate impact within a 6-month contract period.
