In this role, you will be accountable & responsible for driving channel business strategy to deliver sustainable growth & profitability. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross functional team to ensure strategic priorities are aligned and executed as per planned
The role reports to Business Strategy & Planning Director & dotted line to General Trade Channel Director, under CPD Commercial Division. The role is supported with 1 team – manager level
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and own end to end process of monthly Bottom Up (BU) commercial planning collaborating with channel sales team & other functions to deliver sustainable & profitable growth
- Ensure optimization of Minorations, value focused investment prioritization based on impact/ROI
- Act as strategic partner to Channel Sales, Finance, Category Business Development, RGM, Operations & Supply chain teams
- Establish planning governance, robust processes and tools to improve planning accuracy & decision-making process.
- New product launch sizing for M+3 and Full year
- Provide Best Estimate shopper investment spending
Requirements
- Proven experienced in Sales/Commercial & trade marketing /category/channel with minimum 10 years in FMCG at MNC company, with experience working with senior leadership and cross functional teams
- Experienced in Sales General Trade minimum 2 years
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skill with ability to translate it into strategy & planning
- Ability to challenge constructively , drive alignment , good stakeholder management & influencing skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Structured, disciplined and detail- oriented planning approach
- Mature, confident and collaborative leadership style
- High integrity, resilience and adaptability
- Fluent in English( spoken & written) and proficiency in Excel
- Education background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage
