Who am I? 

In your role, you are safeguarding and reinforcing the recognizable presence of several L’Oréal brands in our Luxury Division. Today, we have different boutiques, shop-in-shops and customized brand fixtures in various locations and stores in the Benelux.  

 

With a high level of follow up you will ensure that we excel in consumer experience by taking the lead on store opening, renovation and maintenance projects. 

 

The office is located close to Amsterdam. Since your presence in the field is of paramount importance, you will be flexible in traveling within the Benelux countries.  

 

You are part of the Retail Design & Merchandising team. On a daily basis, you work closely with the marketing, retail and commercial teams in order to push the consumer experience to the next level. You have many internal and external stakeholders, from international brands, clients, to commercial and finance departments. 

 

  • You are the main contact when it comes to store renovations and installations of new displays and fixtures in perfumery stores 

  • You are advising the commercial and brand teams in negotiation with clients on the location of our personalized brand fixtures 

  • You will safeguard the planning, budget and material forecast for installations of new and refitted fixtures 

  • You will take the lead in roll-out projects like the installations of new brand concepts at our perfumery clients, such as furniture development for new brand introductions 

  • You are in charge of the tender process for furniture productions, keeping in mind a sustainable and cost-efficient approach 

  • You are able to develop the most inspiring brand fixtures in alignment with our (international) brand teams and within the guidelines of the local retailers 

  • You are responsible for following up all maintenance requests 

  • You keep close contact with our retail managers and store staff to ensure the optimal brand execution in-store 

 

Your profile 

You are an experienced project manager, analytical strong but pragmatic when the situation requires. As a person you are determined to make a great impact by taking initiatives and sharing your ideas. It is important to feel comfortable to collaborate with different stakeholders and that you know how to convince them if necessary. Furthermore you are open minded and supportive towards new initiatives. 

 

You:  

  • You have at least completed a higher education  

  • You have a minimum of 2-4 years working experience, preferably in project management in a retail environment 

  • You have a strong interest and experience in the Luxury, beauty and fashion retail industry 

  • You have sound knowledge of brand management  

  • You have an excellent command of the English language (absolute must-have). Communication proficiency in Dutch and French is an advantage 

  • Experience in working with Sketchup is a plus 

  • You have proven record of working with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Photoshop and/or InDesign is a plus)
