Retail Category Analyst - L'Oréal Consumer Products
A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Head of Category, you will be the market and O+O data reference for the beauty category in Canada, supporting CPD’s data transformation by delivering analyses, reporting and actionable recommendations.
• Market analysis & insights: exploit Nielsen, Circana, Profitero, LDIA, Kline and internal studies to identify growth opportunities and drivers.
• Reporting & tools: design and enhance Power BI dashboards and Excel models to support Business Development.
• Category planning: monitor O+O trends, forecast category evolution and co-build growth plans with Category Directors.
• Cross functional representation: voice CPD needs within One L’Oréal Data Analytics and collaborate with Trade, Finance, Supply Chain and Marketing.
We Are Looking For
• Education & experience: bachelor’s degree in management, data or finance and minimum 2 years in FMCG, retail, market research or category management.
• Languages: fluent French and English to engage stakeholders across Quebec and Canada.
• Technical skills: advanced Excel, Power BI and reporting capability to turn data into operational recommendations.
• Market knowledge: strong understanding of FMCG category dynamics and O+O retail landscape.
• Personal qualities: analytical mindset, attention to detail, agility in a transforming environment and ability to lead transversally.
