Cleanser and Make Up remover is a key category for L’Oréal, with a strong business acceleration in recent years driven by consumer demand for gentle yet effective products. Asia plays a crucial role in this growth, thanks to beauty-savvy consumers, and innovative formats.
The mission of Scientific Valorization team is to ensure the valorization of our products, build the claims, develop creative demos to support our brands’ communication offline and online and ensure the competitiveness of our product communication on the market. It is key to continuously explain the technology behind our pillars and new launches, and translate the science behind our products in a clear communication for our consumers.
You will lead lead mainly the following areas expertise;
●SCOPE: Lead scientific communication and valorization for the Cleansers & Makeup Remover North Asia DA and Japan Center of Excellence, ensuring efficient and rapid transformation of our technologies into successful product launches, at scale.
●COLLABORATION: Partner with the Global Cleansers & MUR Scientific Valorization Leader and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (Advanced Research, EI, SRC, DA Project Leaders, Patents, Development teams, Consumer & Market Insights, and DI) to develop unique, competitive, and targeted communication materials for our breakthrough technologies, tailored to our core consumer and brand audiences.
●INNOVATION: Creatively develop new innovative communication assets, new evaluation methods, visualizations, and demos, to be used in Pipe and Brand strategic meetings. Explore emerging scientific areas to enhance the value of our technologies and emphasize their novel, superior, and differentiating qualities.
●STRATEGY: Build a roadmap of communication strategies to valorize technical platforms and scientific territories on the longer term, aligning the upstream and downstream Brand strategies to ensure efficient transformation
●COMPETITION ANALYSIS: Monitor competitors’ valorization assets (including online and offline product communication, publications, and public relations) in North Asia to stay ahead of trends and emerging scientific territories. Draw inspiration from competitor approaches and share insights with the global team.
●WORLD OF CO: Explore partnerships with external organizations to develop new methodologies and enhance the competitiveness of our valorization assets
●REGULATORY COMPLIANCY: Collaborate with the internal regulatory team to ensure claim ability across different zones and divisions. Explore necessary adjustments or adaptations. Coordinate with the China team to maintain compliance with CSAR (China regulations).
You have strong background in the following areas of knowledge (technical skills)
● Graduated from Scientific university (Master degree, PhD)
● First experience in formulation or cosmetic
● Or first experience in scientific communication/valorization
●Or first experience in DI, EI or SRC
