About the Role
As a Real Estate Project Manager for China R&I Hub, you will oversee a major real estate project for China R&I Hub, collaborating closely with the Group Real Estate Department and Campus Management teams. This role will be based in Pudong.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a China R&I real estate project from inception to completion, including:
- Defining project scope, goals and requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Overseeing architectural competitions and conducting comprehensive project analyses (architectural, technical, workplace, sustainability, financial, and legal).
- Follow-up of design studies and obtaining necessary administrative authorizations.
- Follow-up of construction phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Orchestrating the final delivery phase and employee move-in.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Cooperate with the corporate and North Asia Real Estate team, that will provide operational support, expertise and lead the execution phase
- Ensure Group’s guidelines are followed at every step of the project
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex projects, ideally gained within a real estate development company, project management firm, general contractor, or corporate real estate department.
- Strong understanding of tertiary buildings, particularly offices and/or laboratories, with a keen awareness of the specific needs of research environments (flow and space optimization, equipment requirements, storage, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.
- Keen on sustainable building solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
- Fluency in English is essential.
